Description
The Wild 650L spots a crisp 50mm f/0.9 objective lens collecting thermal radiation. The default field of view on this thermal monocular is 8.8 by 7 degrees. It has a 4 times digital zoom to enlarge (parts of) the image. The eye relief distance is measured at 40mm and the exit pupil diameter measures 6mm.
Behind the lens of the Wild 650L you can find the (uncooled, 12 micrometer) 640 x 512 pixels core refreshing the image at 50Hz. The thermal contrast (NETD) of this thermal monocular is <18mK and it's operating within the 8µm to 14µm infrared spectrum.
The physical dimensions of this thermal monocular read 190 x 76 x 84mm (lwh) and the scale reads 540 grams. This device is rated IP67. It handles dust, shocks, water (splashes) and submersion under water. It's rated for operating in temperatures between -20°C and 50°C.
The Wild 650L can be used in scanning and surveillance, hunting adventures and search and rescue.
