Description
The Vidar 660 2.0 houses a clear 20mm f/1 objective lens collecting thermal radiation. The default field of view on this thermal weapon sight measures 21.7 by 17.4 degrees. It has a 4 times digital zoom to enlarge (parts of) the image. It has an eye relief distance of 45mm and the exit pupil diameter measures 6mm.
Behind the lens of the Vidar 660 2.0 you can find the (uncooled, 12 micrometer) 640 x 512 pixel microbolometer refreshing the image at 50Hz. The NETD of this thermal weapon sight is <18mK and it's operating within the 8µm - 14µm infrared wavelengths.
The measurements of this thermal weapon sight read 233 x 100 x 75mm (l/w/h) and the scale reads 825 grams. This device is rated IP67. It's protected against dust, shocks, water (splashes) and submersion under water. It handles temperatures between -20°C and 50°C.
The Vidar 660 2.0 can be utilized in hunting trips and law enforcement (police, border patrol etc.).
