Description
The Wild 325 houses a clear 25mm f/0.8 objective lens collecting thermal radiation. The default field of view on this thermal monocular measures 10.5 by 7.9 degrees. It has a 4 times digital zoom to enlarge (parts of) the image. It has an eye relief distance of 40mm and the exit pupil diameter measures 6mm.
Behind the lens of the Wild 325 you can find the (uncooled, 12 micrometer) 384 x 288 pixel microbolometer refreshing the image at 50Hz. The NETD of this thermal monocular is <18mK and it's operating within the 8µm - 14µm infrared wavelengths.
The measurements of this thermal monocular read 190 x 69 x 59mm (l/w/h) and the scale reads 470 grams. This device is rated IP67. It's protected against dust, shocks, water (splashes) and submersion under water. It handles temperatures between -20°C and 50°C.
The Wild 325 can be utilized in surveillance, hunting trips and SAR (Search and Rescue) operations.
