Description
The Raptor RQ50LN spots a crisp 50mm f/0.9 objective lens collecting thermal radiation. The default field of view on this thermal bi-ocular is 8.8 by 7 degrees. It has a 16 times digital zoom to enlarge (parts of) the image. The eye relief distance is measured at 15mm.
Behind the lens of the Raptor RQ50LN you can find the (uncooled, 12 micrometer) 640 x 512 pixels core refreshing the image at 25Hz. The thermal contrast (NETD) of this thermal bi-ocular is <20mK.
The physical dimensions of this thermal bi-ocular read 217.5 x 155 x 87.5mm (lwh) and the scale reads 1120 grams. This device is rated IP67. It handles dust, shocks, water (splashes) and submersion under water. It's rated for operating in temperatures between -30°C and 55°C.
