The Panther PH35L houses a clear 35mm f/1 objective lens collecting thermal radiation. The default field of view on this thermal weapon sight measures 7.53 by 5.65 degrees. It has a 8 times digital zoom to enlarge (parts of) the image. It has an eye relief distance of 45mm and the exit pupil diameter measures 6mm.
Behind the lens of the Panther PH35L you can find the (uncooled, 12 micrometer) 384 x 288 pixel microbolometer refreshing the image at 50Hz. The NETD of this thermal weapon sight is <35mK and it's operating within the 8µm - 14µm infrared wavelengths.
The measurements of this thermal weapon sight read 200 x 66 x 87mm (l/w/h) and the scale reads 518 grams. This device is rated IP67. It's protected against dust, shocks, water (splashes) and submersion under water. It handles temperatures between -30°C and 55°C.
