Description
The Falcon FQ50 houses a clear 50mm f/0.9 objective lens collecting thermal radiation. The default field of view on this thermal monocular measures 8.75 by 7 degrees. It has a 8 times digital zoom to enlarge (parts of) the image.
Behind the lens of the Falcon FQ50 you can find the (uncooled, 12 micrometer) 640 x 512 pixel microbolometer refreshing the image at 50Hz. The NETD of this thermal monocular is <20mK and it's operating within the 8µm - 14µm infrared wavelengths.
The measurements of this thermal monocular read 203 x 78 x 67.8mm (l/w/h) and the scale reads 636 grams. This device is rated IP67. It's protected against dust, shocks, water (splashes) and submersion under water. It handles temperatures between -30°C and 55°C.
The Falcon FQ50 can be utilized in surveillance, hunting trips, law enforcement (police, border patrol etc.) and SAR (Search and Rescue) operations.
