The S236P spots a crisp 35mm objective lens collecting thermal radiation. The default field of view on this thermal monocular is 12.5 by 10 degrees. It has a 4 times digital zoom to enlarge (parts of) the image.
Behind the lens of the S236P you can find the (uncooled, 12 micrometer) 640 x 512 pixels core refreshing the image at 50Hz. The thermal contrast (NETD) of this thermal monocular is <40mK and it's operating within the 8µm to 14µm infrared spectrum.
The physical dimensions of this thermal monocular read 220 x 97 x 60mm (lwh) and the scale reads 580 grams. This device is rated IP66. It handles dust, shocks and water (splashes). It's rated for operating in temperatures between -20°C and 50°C.
