Description
The S236E uses a quality 25mm lens to capture thermal radiation. The field of view (FOV) on this thermal monocular reads 10.5 x 7.9 degrees. It's equipped with a 4x digital zoom to capture additional details.
Inside the housing of the S236E you'll find the (uncooled, 12µm) 384 by 288px sensor with a refresh rate of 50Hz. The NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) of this thermal monocular is <40mK and it's operating between the 8µm and 14µm wavelengths.
The dimensions of this thermal monocular are 220 x 97 x 60mm (length/width/height) and weighs in at 580g. This device is rated IP66. It can withstand dust, shocks and water (splashes). Operating temperatures range between -20°C and 50°C.
The S236E can be used for surveillance missions, hunting, law enforcement and search and rescue operations.
