The Ares 360 2.0 comes with a quality 20mm f/1 lens to capture thermal signatures. The FOV on this thermal weapon sight reads 13.1 x 9.8 degrees. It comes with a 4x digital zoom to get additional details. The eye relief distance is 50mm and the exit pupil diameter is 6mm.
Inside the housing of the Ares 360 2.0 you'll find the (uncooled, 12µm) 384 by 288px thermal imaging sensor with a refresh rate of 50Hz. The NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) of this thermal weapon sight is <18mK and it's operating between the 8µm and 14µm wavelengths.
The dimensions of this thermal weapon sight are 435 x 89 x 93mm (length/width/height) and weighs 1072g. This device is rated IP67. It can withstand dust, shocks, water (splashes) and submersion under water. Operating temperatures range between -20°C and 50°C.
