The Core FXQ50 BW contains a crisp 50mm f/1.2 objective lens focusing the available thermal radiation. The field of view on this thermal clip-on is 5.6 by 4.2 degrees.
Behind the lens of the Core FXQ50 BW you can find the (uncooled, 17 micrometer) 384 x 288 pixels thermal core refreshing the image at 50Hz.
The physical dimensions of this thermal clip-on read 190 x 65 x 60mm (lwh) weighing in at 400 grams. This device is rated IPX7. It handles dust, shocks, water (splashes) and submersion under water. It's rated for operating in temperatures between -25°C and 50°C.
