Description
The Sentinel (640 x 512) uses a quality 60mm f/1.25 lens to capture thermal radiation. The field of view (FOV) on this thermal bi-ocular reads 10.4 x 8.3 degrees. It's equipped with a 4x digital zoom to capture additional details. The eye relief distance is 25mm.
Inside the housing of the Sentinel (640 x 512) you'll find the (uncooled, 17µm) 640 by 512px thermal imaging sensor with a refresh rate of 30Hz. The NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) of this thermal bi-ocular is <50mK and it's operating between the 7µm and 14µm wavelengths.
The dimensions of this thermal bi-ocular are 148 x 145 x 80mm (length/width/height) and weighs in at 660g. It can withstand dust and shocks. Operating temperatures range between -40°C and 50°C.
