Description
The Sentinel (384 x 288) spots a crisp 60mm f/1.25 objective lens collecting thermal radiation. The default field of view on this thermal bi-ocular is 7.6 by 5.7 degrees. It has a 4 times digital zoom to enlarge (parts of) the image. The eye relief distance is measured at 25mm.
Behind the lens of the Sentinel (384 x 288) you can find the (uncooled, 25 micrometer) 384 x 288 pixels core refreshing the image at 30Hz. The thermal contrast (NETD) of this thermal bi-ocular is <50mK and it's operating within the 7µm to 14µm infrared spectrum.
The physical dimensions of this thermal bi-ocular read 148 x 145 x 80mm (lwh) and the scale reads 660 grams. It handles dust and shocks. It's rated for operating in temperatures between -40°C and 50°C.
