The IR518-A spots a crisp 25mm f/1 objective lens collecting thermal radiation. The default field of view on this thermal monocular is 9.2 by 6.9 degrees. It has a 2 times digital zoom to enlarge (parts of) the image.
Behind the lens of the IR518-A you can find the (uncooled, 25 micrometer) 160 x 120 pixels core refreshing the image at 50Hz. It's operating within the 8µm to 14µm infrared spectrum.
The physical dimensions of this thermal monocular read 169 x 69 x 107mm (lwh) and the scale reads 760 grams. This device is rated IP66. It handles dust, shocks and water (splashes). It's rated for operating in temperatures between -20°C and 50°C.
