Description
The Recon 3 uses a quality 42mm lens to capture thermal radiation. The field of view (FOV) on this thermal clip-on reads 8.9 x 6.7 degrees. It's equipped with a 4x digital zoom to capture additional details.
Inside the housing of the Recon 3 you'll find the (uncooled, 17µm) 384 by 288px thermal imaging sensor with a refresh rate of 50Hz. The NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) of this thermal clip-on is <50mK.
The dimensions of this thermal clip-on are 152 x 61 x 58mm (length/width/height) and weighs in at 420g. This device is rated IP67. It can withstand dust, shocks and water (splashes).
The Recon 3 is suitable for surveillance missions, hunting, law enforcement and search and rescue operations.
