The General One 3XL uses a quality 100mm f/1 lens to capture thermal radiation. The field of view (FOV) on this thermal scope reads 3.7 x 2.8 degrees. It's equipped with a 4x digital zoom to capture additional details. The eye relief distance is 52mm.
Inside the housing of the General One 3XL you'll find the (uncooled, 17µm) 384 by 288px thermal imaging sensor with a refresh rate of 50Hz. It's operating between the 7.5µm and 14µm wavelengths.
The dimensions of this thermal scope are 290 x 116 x 116mm (length/width/height) and weighs in at 1237g. This device is rated IP67. It can withstand dust, shocks, water (splashes) and submersion under water. Operating temperatures range between -30°C and 50°C.
