The GENERAL BINO 50S3 is a thermal bi-ocular made by Fortuna and is part of the General Bino series.

Description

The General Bino 50S3 comes with a clear 50mm f/1.2 lens to capture thermal signatures. The FOV on this thermal bi-ocular measures 7.4 x 5.6 degrees. It has an eye relief distance of 25mm.

Inside the housing of the General Bino 50S3 you'll find the (uncooled, 17µm) 384 by 288 pixel thermal sensor with a refresh rate of 50Hz. The NETD of this thermal bi-ocular is <50mK and it's operating between the 7.5µm - 14µm infrared wavelengths.

The measurements of this thermal bi-ocular are 155 x 95 x 165mm (l/w/h) and weighs 650g. This device is rated IP66. It's protected against dust, shocks and water (splashes). It handles temperatures between -30°C and 50°C.

The General Bino 50S3 is built for surveillance, law enforcement (police, border patrol etc.) and SAR (Search and Rescue) operations.
