The TAIPAN TM10-256 is a thermal monocular made by AGM and is part of the Taipan series.

Description

The Taipan TM10-256 houses a clear 10mm f/1 objective lens collecting thermal radiation. The default field of view on this thermal monocular measures 18 by 13.55 degrees. It has a 8 times digital zoom to enlarge (parts of) the image.

Behind the lens of the Taipan TM10-256 you can find the (uncooled, 12 micrometer) 256 x 192 pixel microbolometer refreshing the image at 25Hz. The NETD of this thermal monocular is <35mK and it's operating within the 8µm - 14µm infrared wavelengths.

The measurements of this thermal monocular read 158 x 61 x 57mm (l/w/h) and the scale reads 260 grams. This device is rated IP67. It handles temperatures between -20°C and 55°C.

The Taipan TM10-256 can be utilized in surveillance and hunting trips.
