Description
The Dot A5 comes equipped with a clear 50mm f/1 lens to capture thermal signatures. The FOV on this thermal weapon sight measures 5.3 x 4 degrees. It comes with a 8x digital zoom to get additional details.
Inside the housing of the Dot A5 you'll find the (uncooled, 12µm) 384 by 288 pixel thermal sensor with a refresh rate of 50Hz. The NETD of this thermal weapon sight is <35mK and it's operating between the 8µm - 14µm infrared wavelengths.
The measurements of this thermal weapon sight are 251 x 70 x 91mm (l/w/h) and weighs 706g. This device is rated IP67. It's protected against dust, shocks, water (splashes) and submersion under water. It handles temperatures between -40°C and 60°C.
The Dot A5 is built for hunting trips and law enforcement (police, border patrol etc.).
