The KRYPTON XG50 is a thermal monocular made by Pulsar and is part of the Krypton series.
It houses a clear 50mm f/1.2 objective lens collecting thermal radiation. The default field of view on this thermal monocular measures 8.7 by 6.5 degrees.
Behind the lens of the Krypton XG50 you can find the (uncooled, 12 micrometer) 640 x 480 pixel microbolometer refreshing the image at 50Hz. The NETD of this thermal monocular is <50mK.
The measurements of this thermal monocular read 143 x 93 x 76mm (l/w/h) and the scale reads 690 grams. This device is rated IPX7. It's protected against dust, shocks, water (splashes) and submersion under water.
The Krypton XG50 can be utilized in surveillance, hunting trips and law enforcement (police, border patrol etc.).
