The Explorer 400 features a crisp 19mm objective lens focusing the available thermal radiation. The field of view on this thermal monocular is 28.3 by 21.4 degrees. It features a 4 times digital zoom to enlarge your subject.
Behind the lens of the Explorer 400 you can find the (uncooled, 25 micrometer) 400 x 300 pixels thermal core refreshing the image at 50Hz. It's operating within the 8µm to 14µm infrared spectrum.
The physical dimensions of this thermal monocular read 160 x 67 x 62mm (lwh) weighing in at 350 grams. This device is rated IP66. It handles dust, shocks and water (splashes). It's rated for operating in temperatures between -10°C and 60°C.
The Explorer 400 is built to be used in scanning and surveillance, hunting adventures, police operations and search and rescue.
