The SCOUT II 240 is a thermal monocular made by FLIR and is part of the Scout II series.

Description

The Scout II 240 comes with a quality 18mm lens to capture thermal signatures. The FOV on this thermal monocular reads 24 x 18 degrees.

Inside the housing of the Scout II 240 you'll find the (uncooled) 240 by 180px thermal imaging sensor with a refresh rate of 9Hz. The NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) of this thermal monocular is <50mK and it's operating between the 7.5µm and 13.5µm wavelengths.

The dimensions of this thermal monocular are 170 x 58 x 62mm (length/width/height) and weighs 340g. This device is rated IP67. It can withstand dust, shocks, water (splashes) and submersion under water. Operating temperatures range between -20°C and 50°C.

The Scout II 240 is suitable for surveillance missions and hunting.
